I'm honestly surprised that this card isn't rated higher than it is right now; these Angel tokens aren't easy to come by in Magic. A mere 10 cards can produce a 4/4 Angel, and only 8 of those cards allow the Angel to stay on the battlefield for longer than one turn.

If you're playing casually like most of us are, many of these cards are out of your reach due to price or general accessibility. A card like Urbis Protector is a simple way to get your token with no strings attached, and for a fairly reasonable mana cost, too. This card even stands up decently to widely-used cards like Serra Angel, assuming you're going to flicker or populate your way into more tokens.

Personally, I love the flavour of this card more than anything else. The fact that Boros angels are now abandoning Aurelia tells us a lot about the nature of angels in general. Angels are loyal to causes and ideals, not so much to individuals. If a leader like ... (see all)
